Celebrating Literacy Excellence: What We Saw on Our Learning Walks This Week!
This week, our leadership and instructional teams hit the hallways for our latest round of Learning Walks, and the classrooms we visited were nothing short of inspiring. Our focus was centered squarely on English Language Arts (ELA) and observing strong literacy practices in action.
Not only are our classrooms buzzing with energy, but we are thrilled to share some fantastic news: our current ELA testing scores are tracking above last year’s PM1 data! This growth is a direct reflection of the intentional, rigorous instruction happening every single day.
Across grade levels, our students and teachers are cultivating an environment rich in critical thinking, collaboration, and deep text engagement.

Driven by a deep passion for helping students learn and grow, she is thrilled to join the Treadway family and support our young scholars. In her free time, Miss Todd enjoys spending time outdoors, reading a good book, and relaxing with family and friends.

We can’t wait to welcome our Tready Bear families on Wednesday, October 7, for an afternoon filled with food, family, and fun! Food trucks will be available, and the Book Fair will be open for families to visit. 📚🍂

🕧 3rd–5th Grade: 12:30 p.m.
If you have children in multiple grade levels, you may choose one picnic time and enjoy lunch with all of your children together. Please use the QR code to RSVP.

We are thrilled to welcome Julie Lively to the Treadway Elementary family! Holding a Master’s in Educational Leadership from UWF and bringing 12 years of local teaching experience from Tavares Middle School, Julie is excited to work with our "tiny humans" to help them discover a lifelong love for learning. Outside of school, she enjoys reading mystery novels, gardening, soaking up the sun, and spending time with her teacher husband, eight children, and a goofy golden retriever named Arlo.
